Okay I just got my dyno jet kit and followed the directions for the stage 2.

I have Pilot: Stock
main: Dyno jet 170
Neddle: Dyno jet needle on 3rd notch
Air screw: 3.5 turns out

I followed the directions to a T. It runs great on topend but seems to bog alittle on bottom. I can rev it in neutral and it hesitates then revs if I punch it. But if I just ease it it revs fine.

My mods are E-series, k@n filter, no air box lid, ground header welds, and the dyno jet kit.

I live in pennsylvania and I think altitude is 1000 and 2000 feet.

Please Help.

Dynojet"s recomendations are very rich. I would use a 165 main, and 2.75 turns out on the mixture screw. That is how I had my dynojet setup with the same mods.

Dune Surfer,

Is that with the clip on the 3rd notch on the needle?

The thing runs awsome on topend but if you let off then get rite back on it its just not there.

And I was messing with it tonight and noticed that when its idling and then you stab it full throttle the motor dies.

Is it to rich to cause the motor to die? Did you run yours without the air box lid?
