Have fun up there, Kahoka is a cool course. I raced up there in 2000 - led my class until the end of the race, long story, but pulled out a 3rd in the end...

I'll be racing in Arkansas on Saturday morning - then in SW MO saturday evening if the weather (and my bike) holds out.

Hey Gabe, Good luck to ya. The HGP banquet is next Saturday maybe I'll see you then. I'd hate to see you there all by yourself with all those bike guys. lol

I haven't raced it for a couple of years but last time I did it was killer. There's a national level MX track there so that makes a good start. Mixed with some good wooded trails and lots of fast open areas and it's 2 hours of great racing.
Flyer also reads fish fry and poker run. Minis run at 3 o'clock . Sounds like fun!

My first Harescrambles race is Sunday @ Monticello, MN. Do you normally need extra gas to race a Harescramble? I don't really have any details on the race, but I have all my memberships and I am ready to go. I am a little worked up about it, but not to bad. I am running my 400EX. I expect it won't be too muddy or wet because we haven't had much rain in Minnesota, but I may be surprised.

Good luck everybody with your races!

Thanks
Phil

I finally found the info I needed!

It is a 10 mile course. C races only(gulp) one hour, so I think a tank full will do it! :D

Well, I'm actually going to be in the sand dunes this coming weekend, so I'll think about you guys while I'm out carving up the dunes.

YOU MISSED OUT BIG TIME!!!

It was a great course even though they wouldn't let us run the MX track. I lost a wheel starting the second lap. My son is 15 and raced trailriders class on his 250x Against 400s and a couple of Banshees I think. He got smoked on the start and then the first tree and had to reverseout. First lap he was back up to eighth and then 5th second lap but starting losing his cluth and endeed up 11 of 13. He was roosting for a bit though!

Gabe we got a month off so We might run an Arkansas race.

Cool deal, come on down... The next race is at Pine Ridge in Russellville, AR. It's kinda a short course (only about 3.5 miles) and a little rough, but if you like an MX section and jumps in the woods, it has plenty... It'll be a 2hr race on a Saturday.

I'll likely be there, but I'll probably be working the event.

If you have any specific questions about any of the courses, let me know and I'll tell you what I know - it's a long way to drive to hit a course that's not your cup of tea.
