shock problems

i just bought new works shocks and when they release from being compressed they make a slight banging noise/or when you pick up the front end when they go completey out they bang, i just don't wanna mess umm up so i thought i would ask you guys and gals

I think works usually do that, thats the sound it makes when the shock is extended to full length:o

I think it is normal... as long as it isnt too loud i would think its fine. do they ride ok?

Mine have been doing that since I got them 3 years ago.

My wifes do the same thing.

They still work ok, so I think it is normal.

mine do the same thing. i only have two rides on them, and they are leaking at the pressure valve on the shock body. i emailed works, they told me i had to pay all shipping to have them fix it. thats 40 bucks, folks. i can have the local shop refill them for less than that. i will never buy a works product again. they are only 1 month old.:mad:

ok went out and rode on them and they aren't making as much noise as before so i am not sure what was going on, thanks to all of you who told me to get shocks like Sparks425ex and pappy for two off my head
