I am helping my son setup his 400EX Honda, he is racing it TT and on a 1/4 mile oval. He has a Lonestar extended axle, 2+, 1+ Lonestar A-Arms, Yosh pipe, Hotcam, Edlebrock, Hoosiers front and rear, adj. rear strut. We had a Dura Blue 2" lowering kit on the front, then took it off and mounted a Lonestar swaybar. He claims it sits too high now, and doesn't like the way it steers?? The lowering kit wouldn't work with the swaybar, it hit the shocks. I guess the only other way to lower the front and use the swaybar is to get a shorter shock?? We're still tipping in the corners, are the tires hooking up too much? He wants the lowering kit back on, I think the swaybar is needed, I see everyone using them? My question is, what is the hot setup for TT and Oval? And what gearing do you suggest for the TT and 1/4 mile oval tracks? ANY help appreciated!!!!
