exhaust question

i have a supertrapp ids2 exhaust system with a headpipe and its just too loud because i ride mostly on other peoples land and its upseting them. so my question is can i put a different silencer that is quieter but still use my same headpipe? i dont want to lose any power so but i cant afford a different full system.

You might have to repack your silencer. If that doesn't work i would look at the quiet silencer from White Bros.

The Supertrap is a stacked disk system isn't it? Try removing a few disks you may have to shorten the mount screws to get a proper fit. Remove three at a time to get the desired output level.

Performance will suffer slightly. The power formula on pipes is: Noise = power. The engine builder pipes like Sparks blast around 105 db. Hoo Hoo :p
