simple hot cam question

I want to put in a stage one cam. Will it idle and run just as good at low rs than a stock cam? Say im just rinding through trails slow in 2nd? Do i need toi keep the rs up? I just dont want to loose the reliability of the honda!!!

Mine has lots of torque still, but I also bumped the compression up. I think you'll be fine- good idle, good low end, improved mid-to-top.
