motor mount

i bought my 250r for a real good price but it needed a few things. one thing it was missing was a rear motor mount just above the swingarm. i bought the bolt but the mount is off by a couple millimeters. i loosened up the opposite bolt but could not get the mount to move. it will not move at all. missing this bolt does not cause my engine to vibrate at all. should i leave it or is there a way to get this mount to move?

Running without that mount might have bent or slightly tweaked the frame or some other mount. You might want to unbolt your headstay and check to see if the holes are ovaled out. THe headstay always seems to show the most damage if a mount is missing. You might try loosening all your mounts, it might loosen things up enough for you to cram that thing in there. If it starts to bind though don't force it.
