first race with the yz

well finally got the 450 together and got to test it out at BET in Belleville, Il. this weekend. after waiting until 10 to finally practice, they decided to run the entire mini show first. so after watching the youngins for like 4 hours i finally hit the track. basically i was holdin on for my life. i had it geared perfectly where i could run one gear all the way around the track. everytime someone would shift the trusty yz put 5 feet on em. the power was explosive but managable; to an extent that is. finished 4 in open pro and 2nd in 4 stroke. pretty happy with it bein i finished the bike the night before and hadnt even rode it yet. just need to learn how to hold on now!!!

thanks guys, ya it has the propegs on it now, that pic was taken before they were put on. its the new 450 motor. after ridin this weekend decided it needs a flywheel weight, prob put a 4 oz. on it so it is more trackable, almost too explosive as it sits.

i love that explosive feeling... that is why i am going to use the yamaha engine, either 426 or 450... i have never riden a crf 450 but i bet it is good as well.. but the dual cams and 5 valves on the yamaha give it that feeling i bet..
