Hey guys, without having to call all the manufacturers and such does anyone on here know how much longer the chain needs to be for the 400ex with the +1.25 swingarm? I bought a Laeger the other day and was just gonna take the old one off and remembered that I am going to need a longer chain. And another thing, did you guys notice much of a weight difference from your stock swingarm? I know Laegers are good and all but I could definitely tell it had a little more weight to it. I'm sure it's stronger but the swingarm and carrier were both heavier. Later

I've got a +1.25" swing arm, 14 tooth front sprocket, 38 tooth rear sprocket and my chain has 96 links. DID ERT chain.

Thanks k-dawg. I went ahead and threw my swingarm half-ars and just counted how many more i needed. I went ahead and got 98 to play it safe. Could have got the 120 like everyone else mentioned but I dont need to throw away 10.00. Thanks again.

I did the same thing, started out with 98 but the chain will stretch and eventually you'll probably have to shorten to 96. At least that's what happened to me. Good luck.
