Ok, I did my 3rd race today, and at first my front end (JRD/Axis) felt really good, but I think it's because I hadn't ridden a quad in about 6 months. But this weekend I ran 2 races in a row and it felt really really rough. I have my rebound set on 7 clicks my compression is on 1, and my ride height is set at the lowest (except the rear ride heights a little higher). I had them valved for 185 pound agressive "B" rider for a Laeger narrow frame and a +3 Lobo front end, I am about 175 with gear on. The rear feels a little better than the fronts, right now. I am wondering if I get some softer main springs if this will solve the problem? I really dont want to send them and get them revalved, although I think I might have had them valved too stiff to begin with.

Well ill tell you what i would do..send them back, theres no reason you should pay 1k and have to ride all season on something sub par...make them fix them, and you will probably be happy that you did

It's not that they screwed up, I think I just got them valved too stiff, I was used to having my shocks valvedf 15-20 pounds heavier when I had my Elkas, because the valving was never right on them.

LOL, the rear is a lot better than the fronts!! I can at least push down on the rear without having to jump on it to get it to barely compress!! LOL

well 15-20 pounds still shouldnt make the suspension that much stiffer.....it would be noticably stiffer yeah, but i cant see it being as mush as your descibing, and elka has been known to be off sometimes

I called the guy today and he said to raise my ride height 2 grooves, and that did the trick..

My front end gets stiff if I play around with it for a while too!
