right sidecase?!?!?!?!?1

i am in the process of removing my right sidecase and it wont budge. i tried prying it off and it wont come...........i am suppost to be getting it powdercoated today so any input would help?!?! thanks

Do you have all the bolts out? You need to remove the oil lines, and one of the oil filter cover bolts too. If they're already all out, get a plastic or rubber mallet and tap around the mating surface of the cover to try and knock it loose. Those gaskets really stick well from the factory, so it will take some work. Good luck :) It will come off, just don't break anything.

well we got it out today. (hey tanner was going on:) ) thank god for them 3 tabs on the case

Yeah, you really have to work at those things sometimes. It is like they were welded together. :) Good to hear you got the SOB off! :cool:
