Well, I had my first MX race this weekend at Humbolt Iowa track. The quad classes there suck. There is no a,b, or c class. It's just the atv class. So I ran my 300 against completely worked 250r's 400's, a bombadier,couple of raptors, a z-400, a cannondale. You know the usual. But it was a great time and good track. I ended up 6th outta 12 in the main. I never had such an adrenalin rush in my life. I was just jumping things I normaly wouldn't. It was awesome.

But heres a few pics of the race:

Heres a pic of the track.. I'm the dot by the white building tryin to clear the 100ft tabletop. I could get to about 80... :D

On the holeshot I started out 3rd from last.... due to the unruley power of the 300.. heh heh.. but heres a pic of us startin the rythms of 4 double doubles'

Heres a pipe jump that the d-bikes where going huge on. No quads where clearin.. just doin the double. :macho

I ended up passin this 250r... :D

nice pics, I just rode at Joe's yesterday. It was kinda fun but I just putted around most of the time. lol, 6th place is pretty good in the main w/ all the other types of quads.

So where in Iowa is this track, is it close to missouri (borderwise). My neighbors on their bikes are always going to a track to race up in iowa. I live in Kansas City Missouri

Cool pics and glad to hear that you finished in a good place especially against all the other, bigger quads there.

It's acually at the norther part of Iowa. Not to close to Missouri. Probably 3-4 hours from the border.

You could come up to bussey and thats prolly 1.5 hours from the border.. Its near ottumwa which is an hour from the border.

Its a great track, and we could get Nausty to go to! :D

You did awesome for your first time racin, and on a 300 compared to what you went against, you actually did better on the hole shot than you said, you just got pinned in the corner. Just wait until I get in there and show ya whats up on my 400. Nice ridin!
