hello i know this subject has been beat to death but i have a question,were can i send the head and jug for a bore and valve job to begin my hicomp 416 on my ex? i need to buy the piston too and marcums is no longer a option. thanx:(

You just need a bore job and a valve lap??

Dont send it to aftermarket engine builders. Your gonna spend twice as much money for nothing.

The mechanic that works on your car, ask him who does all of his machine work. Take your jug and head to those guys.

Ive had nothing but great things to say about the local machine shop here. They do great work and are FAR cheaper than shipping it off somewhere.

Believe me, the guys that work at machine shops are sharp and know what there doing.:D

check ebay for that piston. Your dealer can get you that piston as well.

Taking Marcum's off your list of options was your first smart move. Talk to local performance engine shops.
