shock springs powedercoat Chrome plateing

Anyone know if the powder coating chips off the shock springs overtime? Is this what comes on shocks springs stock?

Anyone try chrome paleing on them? Does this hold up? Does it chip?

anything pretty near will chip if allowed to see abuse. yes stock springs are pc'd. i think elka went to a epoxy coating.

chrome lasts but i have see rust form on a some ....i geuss the elements we ride in aint good for them:p some shock companies will redo the springs for you ...sometimes for free:eek2:

Would look pretty saweet, I would chrome them but that ends up costing quite a few bucks..
