View Full Version : CRF In a 250r or 400ex frame ???

what will i need to know what to do ? to put a crf motor in a quad:D

It will fit easier in a 400ex frame. You will need a bigger radiater and a biger oil tank is also better to have on it. Also you gotta gusset the frame;)

crf dont have oil tanks like the 426 motor

i would use the 250r seeing as it already has radiator mounts

wont work to well in a 250r frame im told....400ex works, but if you have the money why not go with an arens frame

its easier in a 400ex frame, i know guys who built them and one used a 250r frame and the other a 400ex frame. with the 250r frame, the guy had to cut the subframe off, and cut and weld a lot of stuff on the back of the frame. it didnt look all that safe to me.
