im 17, almost eighteen and have been riding for four years now. i've had my own 250ex for 2 years now and i think its time for a jump up to the 400ex.

just one problem though, my parents say no. they say it is to much power. yet the little 10 year old girl down the street goes riding by on her dads 400 just about every day.

i think im in trouble. i cant get them to change theie minds. i guess im stuck with the 250.

I would keep trying to convicnce them thats your 250 is too small. Do you mean they wont let you buy it or they wont buy it for you ?

i have the money, they wont let me buy it. ive been talking to them for over two months now. i told em i would keep it stock for a while so im not dishing out to much extra moeny right away. but they say its to big for me and i might get hurt.

dude, if your 17 you should be able to handle a 400ex...im 13 ans im only like 5 feet tall and prolly under 100 lbs and i ride a 300ex, show your parents this thread and convince them you should have more freedom

13-14 yr old kids RACE cr 125s and they are ,uch faster than a stock quad

thats my point im 6' 1" and weigh around 160. they still say no.
