250x or blaster

hey guys i need your opionion on what to get either a 250x or blaster both in good condition 250x is late 80's and blaster was made in 90. Also whats your guys expierence with them like how fast, handling, pros and cons, and such. Also I ride on trails.

i would stick with the 250x. the blaster being that old is just asking for trouble. my buddy has a 250x with 20's and it is pretty quick. but thats jmo.

in the woods he is pretty fast. he climbs just about every hill. it is easy to fix is something is wrong.

but if your working with a little moeny maybe look at something new like a 3 or 400ex.

If it was well taken care of it can be in better condition than a 2003 blaster. I would go with the blaster, I had a 89 blaster and it always ran and started right up. It was fast and I loved it.

Blasters, really arn't that great, not just cuz I have an x, I just think it seems like the x's and ex's are built alot better and sturdier than a blaster. JMO too. so u decide:devil Heres my x:cool:

I have a 250x and my buddy has somewhat suped up blaster. He can beat me on a track but not in the woods. He can also outrun me in a drag race but if ur looking for something to last a little while definately go with the honda. They are built a lot better than a blaster in every way. My buddy's blaster is a 99 and he has more trouble with his than mine and its 12 years newer. Definately take the honda.

go with the 250x i own the x and i have ridden a blaster
the blaster is much peppier however it feels like ur sitting on a powerwheels quad my feat almost rub against the back tires the 250x isa easy to use/ easy to maitnance (sp) but can still give u quite a thrill with some mods on it RIDE RED!:blah

I used to have a '91 X. God, I loved that machine! If you are trail riding, definitly go with the X. The blaster is fast n'at...but it is a crazy 2 stroke. My X was the schiz back in the day....until I got ballzy one hot summer afternoon and cased a double. And that was the end of that beautiful machine....dang my teenage stupidity!:mad:

I have no regrets about my X. It is a Honda and it is (was) beautiful!:D
