oil cooler?

do i have to remove my oil cooler in order to remove my stock 400ex header pipe. i have taken out all four nuts and the slid the flanges out but the exhuast hits the oild cooler when i try to pull it off...................any input would help, thanks

The header pipe will come off without removing the oil cooler.
