advice please

ok, my 400ex its burning a little of oil, it doesn't smoke, but the oil level gets lower at every ride, so i was thinking about make it a 416 or 426cc, or i just have to change the piston and rings with the actual 400cc??
I want reliability, and why not, a little more power.

do you think its worht to do that, because here we do not have a shop (good one) to do the motor work.
So its gona be very expensive to do the motor work well done because i have to send the motor to el Paso TX.
