Top end pics

I tore down my first engine tonite and took some pics. From some initial measurements, the piston is out of round by 0.005. Do these photos indicate anything else besides its burning oil like crazy?

i know for sure you need to rebuild and it looks like theres something hitting your sleeve cause there is a little curve on the right side of the sleeve in the pic.

I've torn the top end down completely and taken measurements. It appears to me that the INTAKE valve is severely worn to the point where the edge (in contact with the seat) is razor sharp where the 3-angle grind is suppose to be. The EX valve looks relatively good. Has anybody had the same experience?


I'm replacing almost everything including the valve seats, guides, valves, springs, OS 0.25 mm Piston and ring set.
