has anybody heard of anything about service honda putting a cr250 engine in a 400ex frame...any thought or ideas or anything to know about this conversion

Yeah that was a while ago. I heard they had a waiting list for them. They were going for $8000
Also heard it was detuned so people wouldnt kill themselves.

He pretty much summed it up. I bet it would be a pretty cool quad but for the price I would get a semi race-ready quad.

i know service honda sells the crf500f, 2-stroke dirt bike. they sell engines. just buy a cr250 motor and slap it in a frame and go from there.

I would say that you should just buy the motor, but there would be ALOT more to do than slapping it in there:D
