got into hillclimbin :S

hey i just got myself a bike...i bought it from one of the best hillblimbers around my areas named mel hoschar.... me and my friend are looking into getting into the local hillclimb circut around here and i was wonderin what mods i might need for hillclimbing......i already have an extended swingarm.....what else to get???:devil :( :D thanks in advance

Your gonna need skill. if you have ever seen on any sunday you will know what I am talking about. When Malcom Smith goes and climbs that hill better than half the people there.

we got a 4 cylinder 750 suzuki hillclimb bike but the carbs are ****ed

my friend use to have a kawi 750 4 cylinder 2stroke motor in a 1996 cr250 frame... it had nos on it and everything else full motor work... he had like 250hp in it.... he would run 100 mph in 1st gear like nothing down his road....


if u ever watch the movie huevos 3 the hill climb section at beverdale pa... its just right up the road from my house... he use to jump the bench and land from hill to hill... if i remember right i think his times on the hill were around 4 seconds or something... crazy if u ask me... he had to quit racing though when they made him a pro and he couldn't afford to go to any big races and travel all the time... they basically boned him over bc he won the amateurs for like 8 years in a row...

Hillclimbin is alot of skill. A good rider plus the right bike help out the best. I know people that can climb better on there warriors and crap then guys on 400's because they have a lot more skill.:macho
