i dont really know what i got myself into i guess, ive polished many other parts (smaller ones, motor mounts, throttle covers, ect) but ive been working for about an hour on one case cover and its barely shinyer than when i began. Have i gotten myself into a mess or how do you guys polish your cases. Im using a die grinder (air compressor) with some white rouge and a smooth polishing bit. help

White rouge is for final buffing or "coloring" as it is sometimes refered to. You need to use tripoli compound first.

Go to www.eastwoodcompany.com for further instructions and products.

or just send them to me:devil

Also the chrome stick works great too, I believe it's red. I think the white rouge works best (the white stick)

You are talking about the Red Rouge... That is the next step after white rouge.. But most people say forget that step just because White does the job....

It is just a final clean up in the Mirror...

Shoot me a pm and I can get ya some prices for what I charge....

i remember my first 400ex cases....that was a job and a half...spent 3 1/2 stripping each case with paint stripper and a brillo pad.....i used emery, trpoli, then white rouge to finish.....i know mine aint perfect but there good enough for me
