Out here we call them "pickle bikes" I guess if your gonna ride a Z it might as well be a green one I like the green the best. Best of luck to ya on it. I just helped my friend staighten the frame on his wifes yellow Z after hitting a tree. It twisted the frame rail at the top A-arm mounts.

this one wont come close to what we're doing to ours. can you say chromed plastic?? :eek: :eek: on mine at least :devil im getting alot of support from alot of people on this quad so its not going to be anything to mess with thats for sure, should be one of the sickest quads when its done if we stick to what we got in mind :macho

but i'll just say this right now, when honda's or yamaha's new quads comes out dont expect me to hold out too long :blah

and the reason im not on a polaris is because i dont think they were down with the cause, we went with whoever gave us the most support. thats all i can say :cool:

Hey Jon, are you cutting the rear plastic too on that thing? Cause I think the chrome will come off when you land...the plastic flexes wwwaayy too much. They told me not to buy it for my Banshee, unless I wanted all four fenders cut...;)

evolution has a new system of chroming plastic. it has the flexable addative in it and is suppose to be some of the most lasting chroming method for plastic out there. they use it on car bodies, have already done it to dirtbikes and they say its scratch resistant. i dont plan on crashing to much on it anyways :blah

just got back from a full day of riding in beaumont california. all in all it was a good day. i went out there expecting the kfx to somewhat decent in the engine and suspension department. after the first 20 mins i knew she was really shy of power, my 416 back home would eat this thing for dinner. i was real dissapointed in the stock engine power but i do realize that the stock pipe and air filter are very restrictive. stock for stock i'd have to say the kfx pulls harder then a stock 400ex though. so right there i know a full 450 kit will waken this beast 10 fold. well after i got used to clutching this thing around the riding area 75% of the time... lol i wanted to see what the stock suspension was all about... total junk! lmao i hit a 20 foot double, TINY! and bottomed it out hard. back when i got my 416 i hit a 80 foot table top no problem and the 416 had stock shocks. i cant do crap with this kfx suspension. all i need here is a full long travel PEP system and i'll be good to go. i did however like the feeling of the quad on the trails, never seemed to fight with me through corners. one thing i can tell is that there is alot of room for improvement for this quad. i personally dont recommend anyone taking a stock Z/KFX out and try to hit some massive jumps, i did try one jump... maybe a 60 footer. i really had to do some correcting in the air with it, it didnt have the power to accerlate off the jump like im used to and the carb reaction was too sloppy and putting in the piss poor stock suspension didnt help any. wow this got long in a real hurry. just wanted to let everyone know what i thought of the kfx on the first day riding. im happy with it so far and cant wait to ride it with a full suspension, engine kit and new handlebars!!! lol

one more thing..... since i was trail riding i was praising the kfx for its reverse all day!!! LIFE SAVOR! beaumont has some pretty knarley down hills, the reverse helped me out plenty of times
