ok, i got around to downloading it the other day. I downloaded some songs, then i opened up my CD burner program called Adaptec Easy CD creator. And i tried to upload the files from kazaa to the program and it wouldnt let me because the songs are MP3's and not ".WAV's" What kind of program do you guys use to burn cd's?

You have to create a data cd, not an audio cd.

But do a search on Kaaza. There have been a lot of people that have had problems with that program crashing harddrives.

MP3's won't play in most cd players. Unless of course it is MP3 compatiable.

If it didn't work, then you have to convert the mp3 into wav's. I have never done it, but I'm sure someone here can help you out.

Also - if i were you I would get rid of Kazaa and get Kazaa Lite - kazaa is full of spyware and all kinds of crap that will jam up your hardrive...Kazaa Lite works just like Kazaa, just without the spyware......

If I have songs already from Kazaa, can I transfer them to Kazaa lite? I have a few songs, but I dont want to re-download them.

They should be stored in a shared file on your computer, so you should be able to access them through kazaa lite, too....I had a ton of songs already downloaded when I switched over. I uninstalled Kazaa and installed kazaa lite and they were still accessible....I would imagine it would work the same for you!

I didn't have the problem of mp3's not burning onto my CD's, though......I wonder why? I just downloaded all my songs and burned them.....by the way - I made a KILLER riding cd from people's suggestions on this site and a few others.....used it at the dunes when I was duning....I'm hooked. Riding with music is the sheeeeyat! :)

ooooo....yeah. it does. I pay $1 a month - I charged it to my credit card and don't have to deal with pop ups, Kazaa or any of that crap anymore. Well worth my $1 per month! I think you can find it for free, though - do a search on www.37.com for "free kazaa lite" or "free kazaa lite download" and see what you pull up. I'm sure someone has it for free out there.......;)

If you are using Roxio EZ CD Creator, check your version.. The older versions would only burn audio cd's from .wav files. The newer version will burn from .mp3s..... also Nero will do it.... plus you can normalize the songs and change the pause time between tracks.

Check c:\program files\kazaa\my shared folder for your files you downloaded.

do a google search for " kazaa without the *****" and you can get kazaa lite for free. Its your cd player that wont recognize the files most likely, some of the older ones won't read those discs, you might need to get a new player.

ok, when you do it, do you have to click on "C" drive, then "programs" then "kazaa" then "my shared folder"? Thats exactly what i did, and my songs came up, then i went to click and drag it down to the "new" cd section, it said it had to be a .wav file.

You definitely have an old version of EZ (4?)... get Music Match or Nero Burn off of Kazaa.

Go to www.download.com. Theres alot of downloads like Kazaa and Kazza lite and the site tells which are the best and stuff. But you should really check it out because you can just download the stuff right off of there.
