I'd try using a harmonic balancer puller to pull off the sprocket. Also removing the rear sprocket might give you some extra slack.

My rear sprocket snapped in half so its really tight around the carrier and ****....

Maybe try drilling out the pins?

I agree /\

While you have the bolt out grease the crap out of it.

Try A Grinder on The chain links until they break apart or use a torch and run water on the rubber parts to keep them cool.

Yikes! A torch is alot of heat to manage. Try a dremmel tool with a cut off wheel or a die grinder with a narrow wheel. Don't ding the case and cut through the links. Drilling hardened pins is evil.

Bye Bye Mr. chain.

Put it in reverse and give er heck! LOL (no, really, don't) Better for it to wad up there than between the sprocket and the case, huh? GOOD LUCK

I agree...Taking the swingarm off looks to be the easiest thing you can do. Plus, it can't hurt to grease up the pivot bolt while it's out anyway.

I agree. I would get a new chain anyway, and as long as you have all that chit off anyway, you might as well grease the swinger bolt up anyway.

My chain did the EXACT same thing about 5 months ago! There is no way you can pull the front sprocket... Trust me on that one. I tried putting it in neutral and backing it out, but where the chain doubles up it is too wide to make it past the swing arm.

My chain was about done for anyway, so I used my Dremel with a cut off disk to cut through a link. Then I was able to put it in neutral and back it out.

I feel your pain!

I actuallg got it out with a long *****pipe....Stuck it under my swing arm and the top of the lower chain part and jumped on it for ½ hour....It worked :)

I use a t.m. designworks chain slide. It doesn't leave enough room for the chain to wedge in there.
