closest XC race

well here in Minnesota...i dunno if there is a alot of XC races

where is the closest Race (XC) to Minnesota....like GNCC type closest to MN.......i would really really like to go to 1 and meet all u guys...and i Love XC...and i would liek to Start racing so...i need to get a feel of what it would be like...
