300ex/250r conversion

there is a good chance that i am goin to buy a 300ex with a 250r engine and i was wondering if any1 has done this conversion before and if so do u have any pics?? how did it perform???etc.

i was thinkin about that too but the 250r engine is lighter so i dont kno but if it comes down to it i will just get the frame gusseted

what did the guy use it for..trail riding, TT, MX...???

the rear motor mount will need to be changed and the frame bar where the header goes through will have to 'dissappear'. it can be done though if you have a grinder, spare metal, and welder (maybe a 12 pack too)

he used it for trail riding and its only got 10 hours on it......does any1 have a pic of one ??? has any1 ever ridin one ??
