If a 250r is bored .120 over how many cc's it ?
Its like 270 something isnt it ?

your correct actually its 269 cc but your close enough.

Here is the formula to figure out cc's of an engine.......

Bore * Bore * Stroke * .000786 = CC

I hope that's an 86r motor! lol (the boring limit for 86 is .120, for 87-89 it's only .080)
.080 over is 265, the upper cc limit for the 250 class

The actual biggest bore size on a 1985 or 1986 cylinder is .140 which is 69.5 mm. I know because that what my motor is. Its on its last bore before resleeve is needed. Also Wiseco is the only company that makes a piston for it. Opss I made a mistake 69.5 mm is .140 over bore. Sorry.

I realized that .120 was the biggest that a 86 would go. Does 87-89 have a longer rod than the 86 ?
