new clutch?

I have a 99' 400ex with 416 kit this spring. It still has stock clutch and the mechanic said it looked good when he did my motor. my clutch lever is almost all the way out of adjustment. does this mean the clutch keeps getting worse or can my cable be stretching? it doesnt seem to be slipping at all.

I think that its just your cable stretching if the mechanic said that your clutch looked alright and its not slipping. Its a good idea to get a new clutch cable because you never know when it could break and also the pull is sometimes smoother with a new cable.
