I used to know a chic in highschool that was a genious. she did some amazing ascii art and just by typing. youd see her typing away and in 15 min it would be a realy nice picture. I wish I still had some of hers. It was the coolest thing to watch.

i did a few last year for computer class they didn't turn out that bad :)

Yeah, what program is that, cause I have never seen any that good. Plus your posting these very fast. So where did you get this program... wouldnt mind doing something like this. I used to do it in computer class, but I was crappy and was slow at it.

Quickbasic is a fun little program, pretty cheesy and old though.

Yeah... It's easier if you open a dos window and run it from there. It will ask for the gif name, then give you a bunch of info about it. Then it will ask for # of columns and rows for the text pic. Then you have to use s to save it. It will save it as an .asc file.... you can open these with notepad.
