Quad041, its at Loretta Lynns Ranch in Tennessee. About 60 miles west of Nashville.

I'm really suprised more aren't going.

Hey, I don't think Mike's going to make it... he'd end up arriving around 10am after driving all night. Wish he could, but don't think it's going to happen. I'm going to have to miss this GNCC :( ... 17-18 hours one way is a little much for a 2 & 4 year old to take!

And here is my report from sunny Hurricane Hills.... Or just pics. It was gorgeous up there, but I went 2 laps and DNF'd. A flat and a broken brake line did me in.

Of course Harlen was there, but where was PAPPY...Not to worry Harlen's A crew was there his Dad. Harlen said something about the B crew not being able to make it.

I live 5 minutes away, and i have trails that come out right on the track. I would have been there, but today was my Easter so I couldnt make it. I also know the owners of hurricane so I could get in for free.. lol I hope its that nice for the next race too!!!

The amazing part here is that Harlen finished the race with the bolt missing from the lower a-arm. I was impressed considering I couldn't make it with just no front brakes....

Pappy what you see is what is there...He was ok and the machine was ok except for the missing bolt....Track was decent not as rocky as Ft of the MT or Jack Frost. Really technical in some spots very tight...I know the pics don't show it, but up in the woods it was mostly one lined.

well harlen has a way of tearin up a quad in places we dont find until a week later:mad: i see why some of the d6 boyz spray paint there parts....it wouldnt pay to make them pretty:p

No harescrammies there agian at all...I don't know why that course looks to be pretty good. I agree with you there about the spray paint. Everything just chips off anyway.

they race dirtbikes MX, there is no ATV mx there yet, but they are supposed to be blocking off certain parts of the dirtbike track and racing atvs on the same track. or there has even been talk about building an ATV track up in the back field. I will be there for every race if they start racing atv mx. I have been on the hare scramble track before, and I dont know, thats not for me.. lol

Well the quad doesn't look like it received much damage from the bolt falling out. The lower bushings are toast from being twisted in the back, but the frame and lower A-arm is ok(THANK GOD, THANK YOU) I already called my parts guy and had the bolt ordered. I didn't have any rear brakes the after we left the mx course, which really sucked on the hills. My leg is very sore from running it over in the first lap. I will be using Nerf bars for now on. I have always used them, but decided to try racing with out them, and in 3 races. I have ran over my ankle once and now my leg. It is swollen and bruised bad at the knee, but I can still bend it. I just hope it better by next week Ft of the Mt.

Anyway, Great Pictures, and hopefully, I will have a COMPLETE pit crew for next week. Pappy and my father work great together, and I owe them a lot of credit for their help on and off the course. Derno24, great seeing you as usual. Tell Marlin he better be at the race next week.

Yeah, that tracks rough. I 've been racing the Bromleys harescramble there for 10 years.

Jake Knowlton won the A class overall. He lives a few miles down the street. He and his family raced the D6's for a few years. Jake's real real fast, almost Borich like fast, he just isn't into racing all the time, kinda comes and goes. He always shows up for the Hurricane Hills race.
