what about with/out an air box lid? would that make a difference in speed?

they go 55MPH tops maybe 57MPH down a street paved road put thats it...my friend has one and my 250EX with a exhaust and Filter can beat it or atleast stay with it and mine is 53MPH stock...I would be VERY surprised if the pipe and filter gave it 10MPH....thats not even close...I hope that helped!!!!

wow thats not very much does an exaust give it more speed or does it let you take advantage of the speed you already have? like accelerate quicker cause as a complemest to a pipe im gettin a 14 tooth front sprocket what will that do?

Before I did any motor work or any mods except for the megamax complete system, I could do 60 on a paved road. There were no other mods at all, stock tire, stock air filter, stock sprocket, just plain stock. This was checked by being followed by a friend in a new car, not some old junker. The bike now does 70 in a heartbeat and that with it hitting the fricken revlimiter. So I would say that a stock bike would be between 54 and 57, every bike is not exactly the same.

im running 14/36 and alot of other mods. i havnt gotten mine opened up yet but i did the gear ratio calculator at bluetraxx and i should be pushing around 67

If u look in a older dirtwheels the top speed of a 300 is 51 mph and a blaster is 52 with a warrior going 55:macho
