i know i've alredy asked this, but i didn't get the answer's i needed....
please post all parts i will need.

i plan to order
.40 over piston (282 stock (this is a 315 right? then what is it?)
all around cam
valve seals.
top end gasket
bottom end gasket (replacing my left case)

now...is there anything else i need?......i'm going with the tamer cam becouse i can't afford hardend rockers. and the spring kit.
can i just buy these parts, install them, and have a nice motor?..(.considering the builder know's what he's doing. i trust him)
i have right at $300 bux for the engine.
rockymountian sells the piston for 79$, and web cams has the cam for $110.....$111 left for tire's and sproketts.

any and all infomation is needed....

also, what is the differance between a piston KIT, and buying a iston from rocky mountian....is it the gasketts. i have a stock top end gasket kit, can i use this and trim it to fit the cylinder after the bore?

.040 will only make it a 289 cc!
Here's a formula to help you......
bore x bore x stroke x .0007854.......
stock 300EX is a bore of 74mm and a stroke of 65.5 mm...
for every over bore of .020= .5 mm,so .040 will = 1mm...
75x75x65.5x.0007854=289.370......blah,blah,blah
And "yes" you can use you stock Honda gasket kit, with probally no trimming need.

it would be a 330, get your rev limiter taken out also.

what?
ahight now i'm really confused.

a .40 will make it a 289cc, and a .80 will make it a 330?

where's the 315, what piston do i need for that?
i'll take a 310 or something like that too.
i don't really want to bore up to a 330....

I am wrong, .80 over will not make it a 330, an 80mm Piston is a 330.

.080 over will make it a "297"cc
To make a "315" you'll need to bore .080 over and a 4mm stroker crank! And stroker cranks are a little pricey!Hope this clears things up for ya:D
