300EX Sprockets and Tires

I need new chain sprockets on the 2000 300EX I just bought last weekend. I also need new rear tires and want 20x10x9 fast trekers. I want to get rid of the balloon tires. My question is should I get stock sprockets or do I need to get different sprockets because I am getting a smaller tire in the rear. I just want the stock feel to the quad just with smaller tires out back. Can someone help me please..... Thanks....

i run a 14/36 sprockets and 20 inch tires on the back, i love the gear ratio

Does that combo give you more low end or top end or is it close to stock gearing? Thanks......

it looses a bit of top end. but get different tires, like razrs, they are so much better in almost everyway, and its not like you will ever regret getting great tires

I have 14/39 tooth sprocket on my 300 it gives it some more top end but i like the difference.:devil
