400ex plastic on 300ex?

Has anyone ever tried to put 400ex plastic on a 300ex? I saw a pic in the ride section (page 9) of a 300ex with blue maier 400ex plastic. How did he do it. I tried and I could not get it lined up right.

I put them on mine But i'm fixing to leave to go eat christmas dinner when i get back i will go and take a pitcure and post it
