Who went to Glamis this weekend? I was at the south end at Ogilby.......it was the PERFECT weekend.....the dunes were all smoothed off from the winds on Friday, wet under the top layer and the traction was great....and the weather was perfect all weekend!!!! It was awesome.....:devil

The South Drags on Saturday (at Gordon's Well) night were awesome......there were a couple of crashes....one guy on a totally tricked out black Banshee with drag pipes and a wheelie-bar flipped a bunch of times.....I think he got stuck in the drag pipes because he rolled with the quad....he got up dazed and drove off slowly. Then there was a two-seater rail that jumped the starting line jump and landed wrong....endoed into a cartwheel....rolled....one wheel and a-arm flew off....he looked to be OK, too - at least from what I could see before everyone rushed over there.

The BLM were cool - they just watched and made sure if there was an accident that no-one started at that spot - and they were on the scene immediately when both of these accidents happened.

I actually raced a bunch of times...usually I just watch. It was a blast......I got my butt kicked by all the tricked out two strokes, then started racing the 4-strokes and kicked some of my own butt.........;) :devil

And racing down the sand hi-way at sunset fifth gear pinned listening to HED p.e. in my headphones was freakin' awesome...........I can't wait till next season!!!!

You should post when you go out there - night rides are a blast! We duned the big bowls between Patton and Test Hill last time we were out.....it was just us two quads and about 3 big ol' Predators Sand Cars........ :)

First you'll have to replace your subframe. LOL I have done the same thing. I have come to a complete stop doing wheelies at Glamis. Don't be to sure about your engine, I'm thinking about getting mine stroked this summer:D

QJ - that's horrible! I hate to see accidents........and it's just really sad that someone's holiday had to end up in a tragedy.

I'll have to invest in a camera soon......then I'll get plenty of pics! We are actually getting our own website soon, so I will have a place to post pics and stuff. Temps were 78 - 80 during the day, and about 55 at night......it was perfect!!! :)

Yeah I know it's not like Glamis - but I say Glamis because not alot of people know where Ogilby is......I have sort of run out of the need to party hard.....every once in a while I'll get friendly with a bottle of Patron silver and the clothes will fly (just kidding!)...but mostly I go to ride and ride hard. It's not much fun riding with a really nasty hangover - been there done that!

Let me know when you post those pics!! I'd love to see them!!! Maybe if I get a wild hare I will get myself up to Glamis next season....we usually hit Olds at least once each trip, but never camped up there! ;)
