whats the advantage of 10 " vs 8" vs 9" rims. I dune once a year, I want to get a set of sand sharks. I don't want to spend the bucks for 10" rims and paddles. So would I be better off with 8's on rims or get some 9's and switch them to my stock rims for the weekend?:)

The smaller the wheel, like the 8, the more likly you will blow a bead. Smaller wheels provide a smoother ride though. Much more give to them. I think you would be better off getting paddles for your stock wheels provided you have a way to break down and mount them.

Sand Sharks are awesome, I understand your on a budjet.

I bough my set of .160 rims 8" with some 20" sandsharks for 130 out the door at Rockymountain.

I haven't blown a bead yet, i run about 3.5psi in them.

If you don't need them right away. Watch for tires on here. People are always selling them. Some are better priced then others. But if your only going to be running them once a year, I would by used.
