View Full Version : mounting braided front brake lines

just got done installing my new braided brake lines and can't deside how to mount them. i was thinking wire ties, but they don't look the best. anyone have any ideas?

get some clamps. they work great. C&D sells them. There not that expensive and there a great part.

take some gas line and that fit around the a arm cut a piece put it on the a arm and zip tie the line around the gas line area , thats how im gonan do mine

only a few bucks,from a local hardware store ;)
I beleive they are used for clamping/ holding electrical wires in place ..they come in variuois sizes ..:D

thanks for the replies. i took some gas line and put that over the brake lines then used the stock brackets and mounts. seems to work. only problem now is where the lines T, the stock brake line had a bolt that went through a block that held it in place. right now i have a couple zip ties and gas line holding it in place, but gonna have to find something else. i'll try and find some of those insultated clamps like 2-r's showed. did anyone else think that their brake lines had a twist in them? like the ends are a 1/4 turn off from each other. maybe its just mine.

those are adel clamps. we use the chit out of those on our helos, to hold anything from 3" fuel lines, to vent lines, to small 1/4 wire bundles. like was said before you can prolly get them at just about any hardware store.

I got the ATV Fourplay clamps from C&D and they are very nice. They hold the line good...
