About a year ago i bought a set of Elka tripples. When purchased, they were set up for XC racing. Now that i have moved, i find myself getting into MX racing exclusively. So far, i have just adjusted the rezzy's to full hardness to absorb big jumps. But, that isn't doing enough. I find myself bottoming out when i land flat on big tabletops and when i overshoot doubles! How much of a difference would be felt if i were to send my shocks in and had them redone for MXing? What are the major differences between MX and XC vlaving? Do the spring rates change any between the two? Any insight would be great. I know my belly skidplate is getting tires of rubbing the ground. Thank goodness i baught a PRM!!! Its holding up quite well...for what i have put it through!

well with mx its not as plush of a ride at low speeds landing wrong when overshooting or underjumping is still gonna bottom your suspension most likely its something like that
