,i am having a lsome trouble with getting this bike jetting,iam usaully on a 2-stroke,i bought the 300ex for the winter so i dont ruin my race bike..
i got a megamax full system
a k&n air filter
now stock jetting is a 38pilot/and a 122main
i tried a 40 pilot/a 130 main...and it ran like a slug
so i tried putting the stock exhust and stock airfilter back in,runs good
now iam going to try a 38 pilot/128 main with stock air filter and fmf pipe
with a k&n and open airbox,and fmf pipe
40-42 pilot and a 130-135 main
anybody at sea level and temp lower then 50 dgrees farienhiet,got any specs as to what they are set up with,or should i just get a k&n stage one kit and cdi box from fst..
