i have a question. if i have works shocks right now on stock 250X a arms and i buy aftermarket extended arms do i need new shocks too or will they fit?

You can have your shocks revalved or resprung for different length arms.

Call Baldwin Motorsports. (440) 224-2734 Mark will ask you some questions about your setup, and he should be able to make your Works shocks work very well for you.

There are many other shock guys in the industry who also do very good work, but Mark Baldwin has always done the best for me, personally.

In response to your question, yes, the shocks will fit with extended a-arms. However, they will be extremely soft. I rode with extended a-arms and stock shocks for a long time, and it handled very well, however, they were terrible for jumping.

If you want to save money, you CAN use your existing shocks. If you decide to do that, I suggest that you never jump higher than 12 inches.
