I know a Honda Rancher does but I'm sure on how much wider the quad you have versus the rancher is??? You better take a look and take measurements first if you plan on hauling the quad. My quad barely fits in the back of my Ram!!:eek2:

well what the bed is about as a big as a s-10 right? my 300 squeezes between the wheel wells. when my dad had a polaris 300 explorer it fit too but he drove over one wheel well to get it in. The grizzly fits too now so i think you'll be fine. The step side Rangers do not have the wheel wells but a regular bed does.

My friend has a 2002 Banshee and he dented up the fender wells BAD on his ranger (brand new ranger), and he did the classic, break the back windshield routine. But the Banshee... you have to SQUEEZE it through with the fender wells dented......... its a tough fit............ I'd advise to get a trailer

I owned a '99 Ford Ranger step side and a 400ex,the 400 will fit in the back of the bed providing you have the strength to litterally pick it up over the wheel wells even after they were dented all to he11.That Ranger was a piece of crap, couldn't pull a stick out of the mud(v-6).I took alot of grief from my so called friends about that truck and I did measure the bed I thought it was the perfect fit, turns out theres a lip around the tailgate I forgot to consider.

i got a 98 ranger with stepsides and i can get a 300 in real easy, but when it come to the 400 it's a lot more trouble. it's pretty much a two person job, one needs to help keep the front lined up so it dosen't bind on t he wheel wells, and the need to pick up the whole rear of the quad to lift the tires higher than the bed and set it in... I thought about trying to make something that would sit in the bed to make it eaiser to load but have lagged a lot on that project. it just sucks that those two pieces that stick out are just that half inch too far to slip the quad in... . if you have a standard bed you shouldn't have any problems though.

I have a '92 which is a regular bed, and I just use an aluminum ramp, drive it in, stick the ramp under it, and flip the tailgate up. Fits with plenty of room.

with my 300ex i would have to lift the front over the wheel wells in my brothers ranger. i have offset rimms though. my dads trx300 4x4 just squeezed right in between the whell wells aand dented ona a little but we just popped it back out

it was a PIA getting my EX in the back of my s-10. Had to go over the wheel wells and one time i slipped on the throttle popped a wheely and slammed into the front of the box breaking the welds on the box and denting the back of my cab. lol Oh well. lol :confused2
