Yeah, its actaully pretty fun, and also a learning experience. Now I'll know exactly how my quad is assembled. Everything was cleaned and all bearings were replaced. I got the motor, oil system, shocks, a arms, front brakes, and steering stem on so far. I'll have to get so closer pics of my frame, it has been modified alot, it gussetted at all the stress points and pieces of chromoly have been welded in. It should hold up this season.

If I was going to a aftermarket frame I would definatly go for a complete lobo chassis. When I got my frame powdecoated and gussetted by my buddy (Pro level Racer) Buckley, I seen one of his four 250r's and it had a complete lobo chassis on it and I was drooling over the quality of design.

Yeah and Doug Roll has stock in vaseline too,,if ya didn't know that..

I seen last night in the new dirtwheels that houser is making frames that hold the new cr450f motor,,now that's interesting isn't it????

12-27-2001, 11:00 AM

It costed me $190.00 to get the frame and sub frame powdercoated and the frame gussetted. I got a good deal because I knew the guy that did it.

I am going to run red stock race cut plastics on it with no headlights. The swingarm is stock and isn't powdercoated. I am right now investing into a digital camera because I hate the quality of my pos polariod.
