My opinion, the new style Chevy's are just plain ugly!!! I liked the style before this new one but I CANNOT see spending any amount of money for that............thing:confused2 :confused2 The GMC's are Ok and I'm still debating about the new Dodge:confused: I would buy one but I'm not crazy about them. Ford (SuperDuty), looks nice and would probably be my first choice. But I'll tell ya one thing, these prices for these trucks are getting out of control and its sad to know that there just gonna get worse:ermm: :ermm:

In 95 I'd say the Dodge, Now I'd say GMC/Chevy HD. But the best looking truck of all time, '79 F250 4X4 with out a doubt;)
For 2003 its the Ford SuperDuty,,,,........with the 6.0 diesel
In 95...the dodge was first on my list of "want to buy"
RIGHT NOW,,,,,,its this one. Cause its all i want to afford:D

trust me im not judging what truck i want on looks. Iv just decided that a dodge ram 2500 is going to be the best truck for me since i do alot of hauling and towing all summer. Also its the easiest truck to find in standard. Iv got a truck picked out im just waiting untill they are going to sell it its a 1996 dodge ram 2500 standard 360 full cap w/ door in tailgate 26000 miles the thing is amaculate its also got a plow on it. its my dream truck lol. BUt i was just wondering what you guys thought was the best looking truck because i was oin ebay and they all look somewhat different

Chevy.
We have a 03 Dodge Ram completely black with 20s on it. It looks ok, better than the chrome grill and bumper version, and we added chrome bed rails and step rails.
Personally, I would have to put my vote towards a swb Chevy Silverado SS. I saw one at the dealer the other day, but it was an extended cab in black and I was drooling all over my steering wheel. :D Aside from that, the Avalanche with the WBH and Offroad packages. Then the 03 Z71s...although I like the 02s a little better, the new ones arent bad. :D

I had to go with the Dodge. I have a 99 Ram quad cab 4x4 dual roll bars cold air intake with a throttle body spacer, dual exhaust, over sized tires with a couple more things any way it is nice I have never had a problem with it. My neighbor had a 97 Ram and had tons of things go wrong with it??????????? Now not to flare up any women here but the Ram attracts a lot of them. My first day of college, my dad drove me up in a 95 Ram 4x4 regular cab shortbed when we pulled into the parking lot there were a couple of girls standing there and one blirted out "dang can I drive that" when my dad heard that he turned to me and said if this was years ago I would have asked what was in it for me?? They are deffinately nice trucks, that look good.;) ;)
4punks, nice dump. Looks like a new Chevy 4500 with a Duramax. How do you like it...
My vote is the 99-02 Chevy. Just so happens that I own a 99 Z71 as well.

i ended up keeping the ford too............the new one is a chevy 4500 with the new cab style. The cab is kinda ugly, but very functional.

right on..........duramax with the allison automatic. this thing is a powerhouse. less than 1000 miles on it so far, so I cant speak on reliability....................but its got tons of power.
To give you a quick heads up. My one friend has owned two Duramax's... 2002 Chevy 2500 D/A, his only problem was the injector's working themselves loose, quick dealer fix. He also just bought a new GMC 3500 D/A combo, not one problem. Both of these trucks are used to pull heavy equipment for an escavation business. The 3500 also pulls their family 38' 5th wheel camper.
I think the 2002 has around 60,000 miles on it and the 2003 has around 20k.
I'm also a member of several GM forums. No major problems with the Duramax or Allison. Both have proved to be an excellent powerplant/drivetrain. There is one guy that has a "hot shot" service. He retired one Duramax with around 400,000 miles. The truck drove 24/7 with a team of 2-3 drivers. Only major problem was the rear end needing rebuilt at 250,000 miles. He also noted going through several alternators in its life...something GM has been known for with all engines. About 1 for every 100,000 miles of service. He did note that the truck could be driven much more, but it was in need of a new/rebuilt turbo and some other high $$$$ items for an engine with that many miles. I guess it paid for itself and the new one he just bought....so....it was a no brainer on what to do.
...sorry to get off topic, but I wanted to reassure your purchase. :D
