compression and rebound

I am having some trouble adjusting both, any tips or advise would be great, I ride mostly trails, I also would like to know if WORKS triple rates W/O rezzies are worth it, or should I save for rezzies?

The more compression you have the stiffer/firmer the ride. If you speed the rebound up, the rear shock will extend back to normal quicker. You have to decide if your suspension is exhibiting any problems that you feel necessary to fix. For me though, i keep the compression as low as possible for the situation, adn the rebound quicker than normal.
