You can try to drill it out, it will be hard because of where it is though, you want to be as close to centre as possible. Then you need a _____ (sorry can't remember the name, its square) and you hit it in there and you can use it to turn the bolt out, I will come post again if I remember what it is called :D sorry

How far out of the head is it broken off? Can you get two nuts on it? If you can, put two nuts on it and tighten the top nut down onto the bottom nut. Then you start unscrewing the stud by turning counter-clockwise on the bottom nut. If there's not enough room to get two nuts on the stud but there is some of the stud hanging out I'd try getting it with a pair of Vise-Grips.

Drilling for an EZ-out would be my last resort. You start drilling into a broken off bolt where the surface is uneven and you risk the bit walking off the bolt and into the soft aluminum of your head. You drill into your head then then you're forced to drill a larger hole, tap it for larger studs and then praying it all goes well.

If you could just get one nut on it, you could weld the nut to the bolt.

vice grips should do the trick if you can get them in there

take a quick run down to the hardware store and pick up a bolt the same thread size and bolt it on there (wouldnt be a permenant fix but would seal it up i guess if it wasnt to long)

thanx everybody i tried vise grips first and that messed up the threads so now i cant put nuts on them i might say screw it pull the whole engine out and use a easy out cuz that would be the best position for the engine to be then ill take it to scotts atv in lafayette, louisiana and get a bad *** 416 kit cuz hey if the motors out u just assume go for it right haha. thanx guys and if u know ne more about takin it out, reply thanx

like the guy above said, put a nut on what's left and weld it on, it's easy too remove then, i have broken a few and that's the way i removed them

DITTO! An ez out would be my last resort too. A chance that you could easily do further damage.
I think the bolt to go in there is a M8 but not sure of the pitch. Buy a bolt threaded all the way up to the head about 2-3 inches long and cut it to size. I've done this in a pinch!:D
