K, i didnt realy go by the book on this part cause i was so anxious to try it out, the blue looked great on the polished rack the the prat was hung on:p, lol and on the part it was a little off, it went from dark to lighter( i guess i didnt spray to evenly) but it is nice and smooth, i also messed up a little on the baking, i fergot to hit the start button on the timer so it cured maybe a little to long or a little too short. i aslo messed up i never let the part cool before i sprayed it so it was like an instant flow out.

im gonna try to do my shifter in some black not and be very carefull to follow all the steps... wish me luck

I take it your using one of the hobby guns? Which one? How long did it take you to do those pieces from start to finish? I have been thinking about buying one.

Looks pretty good for a first try. Practice makes perfect.

Did you have to cut the toe pad off of your shifter, or were you able to get it off in one piece?

Cool, What did you line the inside with? You ever think about giving it a down, or back draft?

Cool, did you find it hard to do a good job? Like evening it, or is it pretty hard to do? Is it hard to screw up? Good luck with Future PC'n!

it isnt that hard, just takes some practicing, i dont know what the material is called i used to li e the inside with but it basically is a piece of thin wood with some kind of finish on it or something. i bought a fan and filter but decided not to use it

Yes I do. When I have the time, lately I've been so busy doing so much other stuff I haven't touched my powder gun in about two weeks:ermm: I should be getting goin again here in the next few days as things slow back down.

You live in Bothel, we should hook up for a ride..
