Change Rear Shock Spring ???

Ok.... I have heard that the rear shock spring is not rated for someone my size... I am about 185 lbs... Probably close to 200 with all of my gear. What spring should I replace it with??? I don't want to go through the whole rebuild... I just want a stronger spring... any suggestions??

I know you don't want to do the whole rebuild but here is a suggestion. I had my rear shock rebuilt by TCS to my weight and it improved it by a tone. It cost $350 but it was very worth it. Tons better than just stock!!! You might give them a call and see if they will just sell you a spring that will work for your weight.

you need to get an eibach spring for it....order it from whoever ya want..

and yes the rear shock on the 400ex I believe is setup for a 160 or so pound rider..
