I have just put a WebCam 450/451 in my 400ex. The directions say to leave the 2 setting pins out. ( one goes on each end of the stock cam, probably to keep the cam and bearings from walking around)
Anyway, I was just wondering if I leave then out, what's going to keep the cam and bearings from walkiing around? Is anybody else running one of these cams?

P.S. The WebCam is a little longer than my stock cam, so the pins won't go in anyway.

Thanks for any info!

The setting pins I'm referring to, fit into the head, at the ends of the stock camshaft bearings. If you had a stock 400ex, you would of had them too. Thanks

I think the pins you are referring to are the oil lines. Don't pull them. The stuff most the cams don't use is the spring and plunger in the head on the intake side right by the cam. Also leave off all of teh decompression stuff off of the new cam. This is how the Hotcam works so I am not sure with the webcam but it should be the same.
